Pharmacy Direct staff members hereby declare that we understand that we will due to the nature of our work handle and have access to and insight in the confidential information of patients receiving medication from Pharmacy Direct.

We further declare that we understand that everybody has the right to privacy in terms of the constitution of the Republic of South Africa.

                                               Pharmacy Direct hereby pledges to -

• Honor the individuals' right to privacy as contemplated in the Constitution.

• Hold in trust and confidence any medical information and/or documents disclosed to us, or discovered by us, or be prepared by us in the course of processing patient information and medication;

• Use the relevant medical information only for the purposes of providing a patient with medication;

• Not disclose (in any form/means) any medical information and documents to any unauthorized party/any person;

• Not to retain copies of any written medical information of any individual for any other purposes than the official records used in Pharmacy Direct.
